BOOK ROOMS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
At Exceptional Study Australia we are passionate about helping house international students coming to live, study and work on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. We act as a marketing agency to help international students and their education agents find suitable accommodation options when coming to Australia.
Our student rooms are the alternative option to staying in a hostel or backpackers. International students may prefer student rooming accommodation as it will provide more living space and a cleaner option for living.
Students may elect to stay short term from 4 weeks and up to 6 to 12 months, depending on what property owners are happy to negotiate. In Australia student rooming is the most affordable option for international students coming to Australia.
At Exceptional Study Australia we act as a marketing agency to advertise student rooming accommodation options to potential international students who are over 18 years of age and directly to their international agents who may be onshore or offshore guiding students.
Rooms and properties are owned directly by landlords or property/home owners who have a house or apartment close to any universities or RTO or ELICOs colleges. Our student accommodation is available for rent on a room by room basis and as short term or long term accommodation.
Students may either live with landlords directly or they may rent a student room in an investment property on a room by room basis.
Most houses will have one, two, three or four rooms dedicated to international students and may be available for rent on a:
- room-only accommodation basis
- room accommodation basis including wifi-internet, electricity, gas and water included
All properties listed on our website will be well positioned, furnished and available only for international students who are over 18 to view and enquire directly about before they come to Australia or after they have arrived in Australia.
All houses will be managed directly by property owners to ensure a comfortable room and safe house. At Exceptional Study Australia we match owners to international students needing student rooms.
Costs
OPTION 1- SOURCING A ROOM SERVICE
If you are an international student (or agent) and need us to source a room for you close to your university or college, we can view and attend a property inspection in person, speak to owners and negotiate a student room on your behalf, the cost will be $560 as a placement fee. You pay the owner the bond, rental fee directly and sign the agreement directly with the owner.
OPTION 2 - ROOM INSPECTION SERVICE
If you are currently outside of Australia or interstate, don't have enough time or have limited transport and would like us to attend any rental inspections for a private student room (you may have seen on another rentals website) and view any properties in person on your behalf and give you a short video and feedback of our inspection on WhatsApp, the cost will be $200 per property.
We can attend 1 ($200), 2 ($300) or 3 ($400) properties inspections in person on your behalf on any one day within 1 to 15km radius of your university or college. We will give you our feedback and any other details provided by real estate agents or owners directly that same day.
OPTION 3 - ROOM MATCHING SERVICE
If you would like to deal with any properties and the owner listed directly on our website here or social media, there is a $120 view fee per property. Here you will be responsible for negotiating all student accommodation terms, lease lengths, other fees, signing all contracts, paying all bonds and rent directly to the owner. Our role is just to put you in contact with a property owner.
