At Exceptional Study Australia we are passionate about helping house international students and Working Holiday Visa travellers coming to live, study and work on the Gold Coast or Brisbane.
At Exceptional Study Australia we act as a marketing agency to advertise student rooming accommodation and WHV traveller rooming accommodation options to travellers who are over 18 years of age and directly to their international education agents and travel agents who may be onshore or offshore guiding them.
If you are a caring landlord or property/home owner and have a property close to any universities or RTO or ELICOs colleges your property may be perfect to list on our website for international travellers to consider either for short term or long term accommodation.
Travellers may either live with you as a landlord or you may have an investment property which you lease out on a room by room basis.
If you have one, two, three or four spare rooms in your house or property (that you own) and would like to advertise them to potential international students or Working Holiday Visa Travellers, you may like to advertise them with Exceptional Study Australia and rent them out as either:
- room only accommodation
- room accommodation including wifi-internet, electricity, gas and water included
If you have a well positioned and suitable property, please email us and we will send you a listing profile to fill in so that we can distribute this to potential travellers.
As a landlord or property owner you must provide your own property insurances and provide international students and Working Holiday Visa Travellers with a comfortable room and safe house.
Costs
The only cost to you from Exceptional Study Australia is a once off booking fee of $150 for every room we book for you successfully. This is deducted from your very first rental payment. The rest of the income generated from fortnightly rental payments is yours to keep.
When an international student or a Working Holiday Visa traveller or their agent makes an enquiry, we will contact you via email if your property matches their enquiry. We will then forward them your room property profile for consideration. If they would like to book, we will let you know and check your availability and then we will hand the booking directly, the initial rooming agreement and the payments from the student to you for our rooming agreement period.
After our rooming agreement is over, if a student / traveller wishes to stay, we recommend that you sign a direct and separate rooming agreement with them and discuss your next rental amount and payment arrangements. You may also request them to pay you a bond of up to 2 weeks rent to cover any damages.
Process to Register Your Property With Our Agency
1) Contact us via email to add your property to our database
2) Supply us via email with a short 1 minute walk-through video of your property, a written brief description of the property and location and how many rooms are available, cost per week, lease duration available and details of what's included in rent.
3) Email through a photo of your property kitchen, loungeroom, garden, bathrooms and rooms available
4) When a student contacts us about your property specifically, we will email you about the lead
5) If the student books and pays for your room, we will deduct the once off booking fee of $150.
6) We will send you the student contact / (or student's agents details) for you to make direct contact and details of their arrival.
