BECOME AN ONLINE TUTOR

At Exceptional Study Australia we offer well qualified, experienced and social online tutors who deliver one-on-one online English tutoring and business tutoring via Skype or email correspondence. Our tutors are specifically for students over 18 years of age who need help with improving their academic performance at university, TAFE or at an ELICOS/RTO college anywhere around the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Our higher education students are international students and so our goal is to help you excel in both English and English based written assignments in business related subjects. 

We offer individual one-on-one online tuition for students in:

  • TAFE / RTO Colleges
  • ELICOS Colleges
  • University (Bachelors and Master's degrees)

To become an online English tutor or business tutor you will need to hold or demonstrate the following

  • Currently completing a Bachelor's degree or completed one previously with a GPA of 6 or above
  • Police Check  
  • Teaching /  tutoring experience
  • Career and life experience relating to your degree
  • A TESOL qualification (if teaching English)
  • You may be an Australian tutor or a tutor from an international background, however exceptional and clear English skills and academic performance is a requirement.
  • Be a native English speaker or confident speaker with English as a second language

At Exceptional Study Australia our priority is helping our students to find skilled online tutors who can assist them to perform well academically. Therefore we hire contractors based on merit and skill.

TAFE / RTO/ University Subjects

Tutors must be able to teach English based subjects and guide students with essay writing and report writing for any Certificate / Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Bachelor subject relating to:

Process

1) Apply to be an online tutor via email

2) We will be in touch to organise an interview online

3) If you are accepted and would like to list your profile online, please send through your profile details including: first name, photo, location, hourly cost, brief experience as a tutor and list of subjects you specialise in and contact details. 

4) Pay our yearly listing fee of $360 via bank transfer

5) We will then put your listing online 

6) When a student contacts us about you as a tutor, we will email you about the lead

7) If you accept the lead, you pay us the $60 student lead fee via bank transfer

8) We will send you the student contact for you to make direct contact how you wish

9) You negotiate and do the rest to secure the student booking

10) Our role is done
